Garden View

Located in the main house, this is our classic B&B room. The en-suite, double room offers cosy accommodation complete with a TV with DVD player, radio & iPod dock, tea and coffee making facilities and homemade shortbread.
Guests staying in this room also have private use of our 'snug'.  Breakfast is served in the snug too but in the evening it serves as a perfect space to watch TV, read, relax, play board games and just watch the birds in the garden.  There is an open fire in the snug, which we're happy to light up during winter.
We welcome guests staying here with homemade cake and a glass of wine on arrival.
Our breakfasts are a hearty affair with a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals and jams in which to help yourself, accompanied by our homemade sourdough and a choice of cooked breakfast.  Cooked options range from a traditional Cumbrian breakfast through to American style blueberry pancakes, smoked haddock fishcakes or our avocado toast served with a choice of toppings.
Wifi is available throughout.
